Ada Robinson

Ada Robinson, age 98, of Cleveland, Ohio passed from this life to heaven on Saturday, November 6, 2021.  She was born April 7, 1923 in Pensacola, Florida to Ike and Cora (nee Foster) Prather.  Ada was the last one of her generation to survive, but the legacy of many.

Ada accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was baptized by Rev. KA Asberry in 1937 in the Church of God in Christ.  She married Harvey Robinson on August 31, 1940.  To this union nine children were born; Gloria Jean, Sandra LaTena, the late Turhan Turk, Lena Laureen, Harvey Franklin Jr., Karen Denise, Joan Elaine, the late John Anthony, and Lamont Lee.

Although she worked at an early age, raising her children was her main focus.  Ada was loved and respected, much as she had loved and respected her family.

Left to cherish her memory are seven of her children; 22 grandchildren; 39 great -grandchildren; and many great -great- grandchildren.

Friends and family may call Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Bican Brothers Funeral Home, 5215 Fleet Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44105.  Interment Riverside Cemetery.
