Alithia Beverly-Holivay

Alithia Beverly-Holivay, age 62, passed away on January 7, 2025. She was born on September 25, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, David Gibson and Audrey Marie Beverly.

Alithia was the devoted mother of John David "JD" Griffin (Somone) and Kayla Marie (nee Holivay) Gray (Shaka), and a proud grandmother of Xena Gray, Abayomi Gray, Davianna Griffin, Dajohna Griffin, Thalia Woods, Da'Arri Starks, Malaya Griffin, and Kenstian McClain. She was also blessed to be the beloved great-grandmother of Nova Johnson.

She was the dear sister of David Beverly II and Dwayne Beverly, and a treasured aunt to Chloe Beverly, David Beverly III, Alicia Dotson, Asha Beverly, Prince Beverly, and Kierra Reynolds.

Alithia’s faith and love for worship were central to her life; she found joy in attending church and raising her voice in song.
