Amanda Fairfax

Amanda Fairfax (Selph) age 89, born November 10, 1929. Amanda passed away peacefully at Hospice of Western Reserve in Euclid, Ohio on May 29, 2019. Amanda was born in Little Rock, Arkansas who then relocated to Cleveland, Ohio at an early age. In the early 1950's she married Raymond Fairfax and from that union they had four children, the beloved mother of Reginald, Roderick, Michael (Michelle) and Marshall (Kim). 

Amanda retired from Angle Nails in 1992. Amanda belonged to Providence Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. After retiring, she worked part time for the church as a transporter, usher, and hospitality worker. In 2005, Amanda received recognition for 60 years of Faithful and Dedicated Service from the church.

Amanda is the grandmother of 10 grandchildren, great grandmother of 18 and great-great grandmother of 1. She has a hosts of nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Savannah Brinson and William Clay, 12 sisters and 1 brother. 

Funeral Services Saturday June 8, 2019, 11:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church 12712 Kinsman Ave, Cleveland, Ohio where viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to service. Interment Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
