Antoneta Kacinari, age 78, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Loving wife of Krist Kacinari until his passing in 2021. Cherished mother of Nick (Andrea) Kacinari, Josefina Dove, Njac (Melissa) Kacinari, Zef (April) Kacinari. Loving grandmother of Vincent, Alexander, Rebekah, Jajuan, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Zackary, and Chelsea. Great-grandmother of Lauren and Jajuan Jr.
Antoneta was born on March 6, 1946, to the late George and Nica Merdita in the former Yugoslavia. In 1972, Krist and Antoneta packed up their family and moved to the United States. They eventually ended up in Cleveland. Antoneta worked for Cleveland Tempcraft until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, camping, cooking, playing games on her tablet, and spending time with her grandchildren. Throughout her life, she embodied grace and resilience in the face of adversity, always emanating a sense of warmth and compassion that endeared her to all. That and her cooking. Her legacy of love, and the recipes she shared, will always be remembered and cherished. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in the beautiful memories she left behind. She will be missed.
