Barbara Turner

Barbara Jean Turner, age 86, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the union of Alexander and Eva Lou Turner. Affectionately known as Auntie Bobby or Bob, Barbara was the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sherman Walker, and her sisters, Ethel Moore and Hazel Woods.

Barbara was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and cousin. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Linda Evans (Darryl), Jacqueline Taylor (Michaud), Keith Turner (Genie), and Arlene Brown.

She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren: Jasmine Streety (Michael), Jamar Turner, Demetrius Turner, Claudia Turner, Dominique Fomby (Carlton), Jaxson Turner, and Eve Turner, as well as the beloved great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren.

Barbara also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and over 9 million spiritual brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehova's Witnesses 3840 Lee Rd. Cleveland, OH 44120. A repass will immediately follow at the Beachwood Community Center 25225 Fairmount Blvd. Beachwood, OH 44122.
