Betty McMickens  age 62, passed away on January 11, 2022.  She was born on April 14, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio to John A. McMickens and Lucille A. (Braxton) McMickens.  She is survived by her children, Rita McMickens, Kelly Stokes and Leslie Stokes; cherished grandchildren, Ashley Callahan, Arlandes Callahan, Kaleb Little, LaViere Graham, Laila Graham and Saebren Matthews; brothers and sisters, Lawrence White (deceased), Marilyn McMickens (deceased), John McMickens and Benjamin McMickens and Alice McMickens; nieces and nephews, Lisa Stancle, Jason Marshall (deceased), Malawwee Broomfield and Marty McMickens.  Betty enjoyed singing, writing, listening to music and traveling.  Betty was a devoted foster parent. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111 for a viewing at 2:00 pm with Homegoing Service at 3:00pm.
