Charles Edward “Eddie” Mangus, 66 of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, surrounded by his family.
He was born September 3, 1952 in Logan County, WV, to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Marcum) Mangus. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Ralph and one sister, Sharon Gail Mangus.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Truly (Vincell) Mangus; two sons, Charles Mangus (DeAnn), Mark Mangus; two daughters, Audrey Adams (Lee), Melissa Perry (Jason); seven grandsons and six granddaughters; one brother, Ronald (Pete) Mangus and one sister Melody Johnson and a very special friend Doug Skaggs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends at the Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 6:00-8:00p.m., with a small service at 7:30 p.m. Officiated by Rev. Jim Sollers.
The family will also receive friends at the Victory Freewill Baptist Church at 1682 Mill Creek Rd., Pecks Mill, WV on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., until services on Saturday.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Victory Freewill Baptist Church at 1682 Mill Creek Rd., Pecks Mill, WV at 12 noon with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Funeral will be directed by Slone & Co. Funeral Directors in Cleveland, OH; Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV.
