Clarissa "Lynn" E. Thompson

Clarissa "Lynn" E. Thompson, age 76, passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1948, in Nitro, West Virginia, to her loving parents, the late Richard and Anna (nee Jeffries) Kimes.

Beloved mother of Stephen Thompson, Paul Thompson (Tammie), Jeffry Thompson, and Holly McMillin (Joseph Molica). Cherished grandmother of Dr. Kaitlyn Early (David), Gracyn Thompson, Stephanie Thompson, Justin Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Brianna Bradley (Jacob), Brittney Thompson, and great-grandmother of four. Dear sister of Steven Kimes (Ann Marie), Sherry Newton (Richard), and the late Richard Kimes. Treasured aunt of Jason Kimes (Katie) and many other nieces and nephews.

Lynn enjoyed gardening, cooking, and getting lost in a good book. She had a soft spot for cats and a quick wit that was perfectly summed up by her favorite quote, “What the shit?!” Her warmth and humor will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
