Clifford H. Meek

CLIFFORD H. MEEK age 64, of Canton, passed away Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on September 27, 1946 in Dover, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Reardon-Grimsley and two step-fathers, Emmett Reardon and Bill Grimsley. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Judy (Fernandez); daughters LaChelle "Shelly" Rininger of Mogadore, Dawn Meek of Massillon and Heather Lautzenheiser (Kevin) of Clinton, Ohio; grandchildren Brittany and Hunter Rininger of Mogadore and Dakota Baughman of Massillon; brothers Emmett “Coco” Reardon (Linda) of Canton, Bill Grimsley (Mary) of Swanton, Ohio; Sister- in-laws Anna Mlaiki and Brenda (Don) Newcomer, his special pet “Penny”, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was a former employee of Aspro Corporation, S.M.E. Cement Company, Albex Aluminum, and Kenan Advantage Group from which he retired after becoming disabled in 2002.
Clifford was a long time member of the Cushman Club of America. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on motorcycles and hanging with his grandkids.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5pm-8pm followed by a funeral service on Friday at 1pm in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Chaplain Paul Rudy, officiating. Interment will be at Warstler Cemetery. The family would like to thank his hospice nurse Michelle McGee, his aide Margaret Robinson and their family and many friends for their generous support.
