Cornelius Howard Jr.

Cornelius Howard, Jr., lovingly known as ‘Nuny’, went home to be with the lord on July 23, 2022 at age 56 surrounded by his loving family.

Nuny was born to Cornelius Sr. and Dorothy Howard on November 12, 1965 and lived most of his life in Cleveland, OH. In 1984, he graduated John Marshall High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army, being stationed in Trombull, TX. He received an honorable discharge in 1987, but remained an active serviceman until 1992.

Everyone that was blessed to meet and get to know Nuny, knew that he loved and enjoyed life. With much love, he gave everyone a nickname. He could always fill the room with laughter and put a smile on your face. He was truly a joy to be around.

Nuny joins his family members who have already passed in Heaven, his parents Cornelius Sr. and Dorothy, Brothers: William (Connie), Christopher, Ricardo, Sandy, Sisters: Johnnie Me and Cornelia (Nick), Son: Shemar.

Nuny leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 32 years Erma, Son: Cornelius “Sport” III (Michelle), Daughters: DeAngela and Janiece, Granddaughter: Kendall, Sisters: Brenda Joyce, Mable (Anthony), Dorothy, Renee, Delores, Brothers: Michael, Gregory, Mark, Timothy (Adrianne), Stephen, Thomas.

Nuny also leaves to cherish and carry on his memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
