Damaso Rivera, age 37, passed away on November 17, 2024. Born on May 17, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, to his loving parents, Aramando Rivera and Eduvina Aletriz, Damaso brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Beloved father of Damaso Rivera Jr., Danise Ivette Rivera, Damian Rivera, Dylan Ramos, and Naiyeska Torres, he cherished his children above all else. Damaso was a dear brother to Yesenia Rodriguez, David Rivera, Jomary Pagan, and Yariza Cruz, and a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, including Ricky Vinson, Yomar Ramirez, Yomaira Rodriguez, Ashley Serrano, Steven Serrano, Jasmin Rivera, Jessica Rivera, Edgar Rivera, Joshua Pagan, Jamary Rivera, Edwin Rivera, Edwardo Rivera, Ashanti Pagan, Damaris Rivera, Danny Rivera, and Jovany Rivera.

Damaso’s best friends, Chris and Luis, were like brothers to him and stood by his side through life’s ups and downs. Known as a ladies' man and the life of the party, Damaso loved good food, a cold beverage, and the company of his loyal dog, Nova. His laughter, charm, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed.
