Daniel G. Polak

February 23, 1978 — July 16, 2020

On Thursday, July 16, 2020, Daniel Polak, loving partner to Alexis Evcic of 22 years and loving father of Illiana, passed away suddenly at the age of 42.  Daniel was born to Irene (Malfaire) Polak (deceased) and raised by stepfather, David Kalifon (deceased).  He is survived by his partner, Alexis, his daughter, Illiana, his in-laws, Ron and Laura (Dudas) Evcic, and brother-in-law, Rick.

Danny was loyal employee to his Glantz family for 18 years.  He was a compassionate man and willing to help anyone in need.  He was a good friend to many.  Above everything else, Danny was an amazing partner in life and father.  Danny cherished his girls and was dedicated to his family.

Danny was a young spirit who loved life.  He was often on the go with Alexis and Illy soaking up everything this world had to offer.  He enjoyed the simple and beautiful things in life that are often times taken for granted. Danny loved spending time with family taking in a sunset, enjoying a beautiful day in the Metroparks or simply observing nature at home in the yard.

Friends and Family will be received at Holy Cross Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm.  Please arrive fifteen minutes prior at the front gates to join the procession.  The family is requesting that all guests wear face coverings and follow social distancing requirements.  A larger celebration of Danny’s life will take place at later date, due to Covid-19.
