Danny Ray Stollings (74) of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on March 27, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Danny was born to Denver and Norma (nee Butcher) Stollings on December 10, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia.
Danny joined the United States Army at age 17. He served in the Vietnam War and was also a cook in Germany. He served 4 years and then pursued a 30-year career at Ford Motor Company. Danny worked many positions in the Brookpark plant. From assembly line & paint booth to supervisor in the office. He retired in 2000. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed working on cars, drag racing, spending time with his family, and riding motorcycles. He attended the Cathedral of Life Church in North Ridgeville.
Danny is survived by his wife, Candy, and two daughters, Stephanie Bowen (Tim) and Kristen Bloor (Jarrod) along with seven grandchildren, Daniel Bowen (Lauren), Caitlyn Bowen, Rachel Hale (AJ), Jessica Donohoe (Oliver), Sarah Leuenberger (Mark), James Bowen and Hayden Kraska. Danny was blessed with ten great-grandchildren. He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Farmer (Larry), Cathy Rivera (Angel), and Lisa Cain (Greg), and one brother, Kenneth Stollings. He also had many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his son, Stephen Stollings; grandson, Jacob Bowen; great-granddaughter, Dakota Ann Donohoe; sister, Donna Stollings and his parents, Norma and Denver Stollings.
Family and friends are invited to help celebrate Danny Ray's life on SATURDAY, MARCH 30TH FROM 10 AM TO 12 NOON AT THE CATHEDRAL OF LIFE CHURCH, 5375 JAYCOX ROAD, NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OHIO where Funeral Services will immediately follow at Noon. Interment with military honors at West Park Cemetery.
