Darrell Glenn Bennett

Darrell Glenn Bennett, age 59, of Cleveland, Ohio, and formerly of Upshur County, died Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his home in Cleveland. He was born on October 28, 1954, in Selbyville, a son of Katherine Elena Huffman Shaw and Clifton Shaw who survive. Also surviving is companion Elizabeth (Liz) Gwiazowski and her son Jason Gwiazowski of Cleveland; one brother Loren Huffman and wife Roberta of Selbyville; one sister Karen Collins and husband Orville of Selbyville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Denzil and Reta Huffman and paternal grandparents Anderson and Goldie Shaw.

Mr. Bennett attended the Selbyville Grade School and graduated from Clover Leaf High School in Ohio. He was an alumnus of Penn State University and was a former police officer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
