Delia Ortiz Velez, age 83, passed away on March 3, 2024. She was born on April 9, 1940, in Lares, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, the late Agustin Ortiz and Maria Velez. Beloved mother of Edwin Perez (Edith Santiago), Elba Alvarez, and Amelia Perez (Rafael Matos). Cherished grandmother of Beberlin Negron, Kimberlyn Perez, Edwin David Perez, Taina Perez, Delia J. Perez, Ambar Perez, Sabel Perez, Sarai Perez, Edwin Omar Perez, Karol Perez, Joel Nieves, Jessica Cueto, Josue Nieves, Gilmarie Nogueras, John Acevedo, Joseph Acevedo, Rafael Matos Jr. Moises Matos, David Matos, and a great grandmother to many. Dear sister of Nilda Ortiz, William Ortiz, and the late Wilfredo Ortiz, Evelyn Ortiz, and Graciana Ortiz.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where an additional visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
