Dennis Lee Nichols Sr., age 76, passed away unexpectedly May 16, 2024. Born in Cleveland to the late Charles and Isabell (nee Kirkwood) Nichols, he later married Margaret (nee Paulitzky), and they lived and raised their family in Cleveland. Within their neighborhood, Dennis was known as the neighbor you could always count on. From cutting peoples grass to shoveling snow, he was always there to lend a helping hand. Often times he walked with the mailman just to keep him company. In his spare time, his passions included classic cars, which he could tell you the history of any make or model, and a love for gardening and the care of his home. The flowers and yard were admired by all who drove by as being perfect. He is survived by his children, Sandy Howell, Dennis Jr. (Sarah) and Brian Nichols; grandchildren, Alex, Brittney, Diane, Hailee, Alicia and Avery; great grandchildren, Natalya, CJ, Allison and Alexis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret and great grandson, Michael Nichols.
