Dessie M Lopresto

Dessie M. Lopresto, 89, passed away on November 5, 2019. Cherished mother of Ronald F., Karen M Rea (Terry), Donald A. and Jon P. (Tami). Beloved grandmother of Ron, Jr., Adam, Craig, Lisa, Jennifer, Bryan, Teddy, Joshua, Brandon, Joshua, Mathew, Jessie and Dillon. Loving great-grandmother of Jack, Ryan, Adam Jr., Zack and Alex.

Dessie, also known as Des to her sisters and Dezi to her friends, had an infectious laugh and a big smile.  The Polka was her absolute favorite dance.  She was full-blooded Greek but Polish at heart!  She loved to sing and did it often around the house while raising her three sons and daughter.  She knew just about every song from the 30's, 40's, and 50's big bands and movies.  Dessie worked as hard at raising her children as she did in other aspects of her life. She was a Directory Assistance operator for Ohio Bell for 28-1/2 years.  She prided herself in giving the best service, having perfect attendance, and in being in the Pioneers Foundation.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of closing reflections and prayers at 1 p.m. at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
