Dorothy "Dee" Rosati

Dorothy “Dee” Rosati (nee Vasarab), born January 7, 1931, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2015. Beloved wife of 64 years to Luke, loving mother of John (Karin), Lynn Marie (Philip), Lee Ann (Bob), and Jim (Marcia). Devoted grandmother of John Mathew and Jenyth, Elizabeth and Luke, Kimberly and Jillian, Jonathan, Jessica, and Angelina. Great-grandmother of Julien and Santino.

Dee was an enthusiastic volunteer for many years. She enjoyed tennis and golf, but Dee’s true passion was gardening and was awarded numerous ribbons from the Laurel Garden Club. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends at the Brooklyn Senior Center, the Pinochle Club, the Strokers Club, and most of all, her dear friends of 70 years,The Kandy Kids.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the exceptional care given by Dr. Mary Gorjanc and her staff, the Brooklyn EMTs, the Normandy Care Center, and Debbie Majer of Harbor Light Hospice.

Memorial Mass will be held Friday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Cleveland. Family and friends are welcome at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Ave. on Thursday, December 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Harbor Light Hospice, 734 Alpha Dr., #C, Highland Hts.
