Eleanore Welky

Eleanore Welky, age 99, passed away on February 4, 2025. She was born on April 1, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Paul and Mary Konecsni. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Welky. Devoted mother of Joseph, Nancy, Allen, Mary, Thomas (deceased), and Peter. Cherished grandmother of E.J., Amy, Alex, Amanda, Tommy, Anthony, Jessica, and great grandmother of 9.

Eleanore found joy in giving back to her community through volunteering at Fairview Hospital and loved spending time playing bingo. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Church 13400 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111 (please meet at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
