Elizabeth Szyarto

Elizabeth (Liz) Szyarto, (nee Thomma) was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.  She left us suddenly on December 3, 2021 at the age 62. She was born to Albert and June Thomma on September 28, 1959 in Queens, New York.

Liz spent over twenty years making the world a more beautiful place one yard at a time from West Park where she lived since childhood.  She enjoyed spending time with family and countless friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth (Ted) Dabran and Colleen (Bill) Worthington; dear siblings, Michael (Sandy) Thomma, Madeline (Monte)  Wagner, Anthony Thomma, John (Patricia)  Thomma, Loretta  (Dan) Foster and Katherine Ezell; cherished grandchildren, Regan Dabran, Symon Worthington, Charlie Worthington; partner and companion, Robert Bucey; father of her children, David Bogdan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Liz was also a cat mom to Zig and Zag; dog mom to Robin (RIP).

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
