Ellen E. Hobbs, age 71, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024. Born on May 3, 1953, in Pikeville, Kentucky, Ellen was the cherished daughter of the late Reford May and Marie Kinney. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Hobbs and a devoted mother to Dennis Hobbs, Jerry Hobbs (deceased), Regina Mires (David Miller), John Hobbs, Sarah Martinez (Danny), and Christina Hobbs.
Ellen was a cherished grandmother to Ashley Hobbs, Amanda Hobbs, Jerry Mires, Joshua Mires, Robert Eady, Megan Hobbs, and Madelyn Hobbs. She was also a proud great-grandmother. Ellen is predeceased by her sister, Mary Kinney, but leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Ellen enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as playing bingo and visiting the casino. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
