Geraldine Kennedy

Geraldine Kennedy, age 85, passed away on December 9, 2021.  She was born August 15, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of Amy Kennedy and Samuel Kennedy, both deceased.

She had 3 siblings that preceded her in death, Ella Mae Hunter, Ferris Kennedy, Robert Earl Kennedy; son Raymont. 

Geraldine was an active member of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church.  She retired from Government Job at Metro Housing Authority.  She was also an active member with CMHA councils LAC and PAC for many years.  She loved her family and friends, and of course Bingo!

She transitioned on December 9, 2021, peacefully at The Greens Nursing home where she has been a resident since 2018.

Geraldine leaves to mourn her passing her children, Rochelle, Ricardo, and Michael Kennedy; cherished grandchildren, Ashley Nicole (Michael), Raymona, Gabrielle, Marie, Danica (Raymont), Tamika Kennedy, Jazmin Durrah (Rochelle); great-grandchildren,  Marlanda, Reco and De’Ja (Tamika), Soloman Renfro Jr., Tavion, Raquel and Miracle, Leona and Robert; great great grandchildren, Zierre, Reilah, Reco Jr. and Relasia.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing a host of distant family members, relatives, and friends.
