Gordon Beecher Milne

Gordon Beecher Milne passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2016. Born Nov. 8, 1959, graduated Brecksville High School 1978, worked in HVAC industry--including Cleveland Stadium. Since 2001, Gordon was Director of Facilities & Security for the Great Lakes Science Center, which included supervision of the SS Mather. He was a member Cleveland Police Association, a North Coast Harbor advocate, and Great Lakes Maritime connoisseur. Preceded in death by his father Alexander R. Milne, and survived by mother Lois Chase Milne, his children Alexandra Milne and Cory Milne, siblings Susanne Harland (Brent), Bonnie Milne Gardner (Bruce), Heather Bemis (Todd), and Robert Milne (Sandra), plus girlfriend Kimmy Pierce, his 8 nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends on the golf course and up at camp. Friends and family are welcome Friday, January 29 at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave., from 2-5pm with services at 5pm. Celebration to follow at 6pm at Great Lakes Science Center.
