Jack Alan Kirkwood

Jack Alan Kirkwood, age 74, passed away on November 2, 2021 at Westbrook Place, Westlake, Ohio. 

He was born on January 29, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold Milford and Charlotte Marie (nee Gudde) Kirkwood.  He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland’s West Town community.

Jack was survived by a nephew, Harold Kirkwood.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold and Judy Kirkwood.

Jack loved Doo Wop music, he was a self-taught drummer and percussionist.  He possessed an exceptional memory, he was fond of sharing knowledge of historical community facts, landmarks and memorabilia. Jack had a love for his Faith and the Lord, Jesus Christ.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:30 until time of service at 12:30 at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.  Interment in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
