Jacklyne T. Smith

Jacklyne T. Smith, age 35, departed from this world on July 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. She was born on October 30, 1987, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her adoring parents Shelah Smith (Russ) and Ivan Tanksley (Monica).

Jacklyne was a dedicated and nurturing mother to her three beloved children, Jai'Onte Smith, Jai'lynn Jones, and Jai'Onna Jones. She cherished her family above all else and found joy in taking care of her loved ones, always offering a helping hand when needed.

In addition to being a loving mother, Jacklyne was a cherished sister to her siblings Ivan, Daymion (Shanice), Jazman (Kiara), Jalissa (Jalon), and JaToya (Jon) Smith. She embraced her role as an aunt with pride and affection, being there for Cortez, Cortnei, Loriana, Chaise, Chance, Jonathan, and Trevian (Deceased) with warmth and kindness.

Jacklyne had a passion for culinary arts, finding pleasure in both cooking and baking. Her creations brought smiles to the faces of those fortunate enough to taste her delicious dishes. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and camaraderie, where family and friends would gather to share in her culinary delights and create lasting memories.

Her untimely departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. Jacklyne's caring nature and genuine spirit will be dearly missed, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
