James Brent Jones

Mr. James Brent Jones, Sr., age 64, of Cleveland, OH formally of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at his daughter’s home.
Mr. Jones was born in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Frank Kovar and Mary May Jones. James worked in construction for many years as a contractor before his retirement. He was member of the Eagles and the Clarksburg Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Drema Jones; sister, Amie Rochelle; grandchildren, Nellie Jean Mullins and Lillian Ferguson.
He is survived by his 11 children, James B. Jones, Jr., of Cleveland, OH, Angelina and Daryl Plumley, Sr., of Cleveland, OH, Ernie Leroy and Violet Jones, of Clarksburg, Victoria and Jerry Plumley, Sr. of Ravenswood, Roger Jones, of Cleveland, OH, Christopher Jones, of NY; Thomas Flores, of Cleveland, OH, Ramona and Michael Ferguson, of Fairmont, Roberta Deems and Cynthia Flores, both of Clay, Sheilia and Edward Clevenger of Lumberport; 32 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Reese, of PA; 5 brothers, Frank Kovar, Felix Kovar, Robert Kovar, Mike Kovar, and Jay Kovar, all of Clarksburg.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort where funeral services will be held at the 2 o’clock hour from the chapel.
Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
