James Arthur Spencer I

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jim Spencer, beloved father, brother, and friend, who went home to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2025 at the age of 86. Born in 1938, Jim dedicated his life to his family and his community, leaving a legacy of love and service.

Jim raised three wonderful children: his oldest daughter, Glorene; son, James; and youngest daughter, Latoya.

Several years ago, Jim gave his life to Christ and became a faithful member of New Hope Church.

Jim is survived by his beloved brother, Leslie.

As we remember Jim Spencer, we celebrate a man who lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

Family and friends are welcome on February 22, 2025, from 4 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 5 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in James' name to New Hope Apostolic Church, 40180 Parsons Rd, Lagrange, OH 44050.
