Beloved husband of the late Kathy. Former spouse of Maggie. Loving father of Tammy, Mary, James, Jr. (deceased) and Sandy (deceased). Dearest step-father. Grandfather of 14. Great-grandfather of 19. Mr. Varner retired after 40 years from the Pepsi Company. For the last 2 years, Mr. Varner was a resident at Franklin Plaza Nursing Home. He enjoyed helping others, working on cars and scrapping at Westside Metals.
