Janice Yvonne Bell was born on October 7th, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Leila and William Avery. She accepted Christ and was baptized at Canaan Baptist Church at age 10 on March 16th, 1958.
Janice attended John Adams High School in Cleveland, Ohio and shortly after became the mother of Roland Daniels. She would go on to have 3 more children, Jeron Morrison, Harry Bell II, and Kennetha Bell.
Janice considered herself a “jack of all trades.” She loved to learn new skills and had many trades under her belt. She loved to cook and it was her best skill and greatest passion. It was truly her love language. She was a friend, confidant, and surrogate mother to many.
Janice is survived by her husband, Terry Beckley; her brother, Norman Avery; sister, Jacqueline Williams; son, Roland Daniels; son, Harry Bell II; daughter, Kennethia Bell; granddaughter, Eavionte Hughes; grandson, Christopher Hughes; granddaughter, Rolandia Adams; granddaughter, Tamara Morrison; grandson, Jeron Morrison Jr.; granddaughter, Narmoni Cancel; granddaughter Gia Bell; grandson, Kyriese Bell; granddaughter Ayden Gardner; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Leila Avery; father, William Avery; sister, Joyce Mallory; brother, Myron Avery; brother, Kenneth Avery; and son, Jeron Morrison Sr.
Due to the current Covid-19 circumstances both the family and the funeral home wish that everyone remains safe. Therefore we ask that visitors be mindful of current restrictions and pay respects appropriately and promptly, without lingering.
