J.B. Johnson Jr.

J.B. Johnson Jr., age 69, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on February 9, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on December 15, 1954, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late J.B. Sr. and Carrie Johnson.

He is survived by his cherished children: LaTasha McNeil, Diego Nelson, Shawntee Johnson, Janisha Johnson, Jeniqua Mclester, Zoreda Mclester, and Amber Mitchell. J.B. was a beloved grandfather to 10 grandsons and 10 granddaughters, and a great grandfather to 15.

J.B. will be remembered as a dear brother to Levada Gordon, Jerome Johnson, and Jevon Johnson, and was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Hearn. He was a treasured uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

In life, J.B. found joy in simple pleasures, including shooting pool, playing dice, dominos, and cards. He had a passion for cooking and relished any opportunity that involved money. His zest for life and his warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
