Jean Carlos Berrios Cruz

Jean Carlos Berrios Cruz, age 30, passed away on December 1, 2023. Born on August 30, 1993, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Jean was the cherished son of Jeannette Cruz and the late Elias Berrios Vargas.

Jean was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Jamie, and a dear brother to Naiott Berrios Cruz. His nieces and nephews, Fernando, Yoandiel, NayahLee, Maximilian, Vanessa, Khloe and Jamie, held a special place in his heart as their treasured uncle. In his extended family, Jean was a dear brother-in-law to Cristine Ruiz.

Jean was also a significant other to Skyler Hall, and their connection brought warmth and happiness to both of their lives. Additionally, his beloved dog, Bella, was a constant source of comfort and companionship, sharing in Jean's joys and providing unwavering loyalty.

Jean found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was watching action movies with his father growing up, playing video games, or spending quality time with family and friends. His passion for music, particularly early 2000s hip hop and R&B, was infectious. Jean also had a deep appreciation for anime, superheroes like Superman and Batman, and the iconic world of Star Wars.

However, above all, Jean's greatest love and source of pride was being a father. His devotion to Jamie was unwavering, and the bond they shared was a testament to the love he carried in his heart.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m., at St. Mary of the Woods 35755 Detroit Rd. Avon, OH 44011. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park 6265 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted, OH 44070. (Please meet at gates by 10:45 a.m.)
