John Gilliam, Jr.

John Gilliam, Jr., affectionately known as "Bub," age 54, passed away on January 12, 2025. He was born on May 29, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Bertha Wells and John Gilliam, Sr.

John was the beloved husband of Rebecca Klepac, dear brother of Robert Gilliam, Connie Gibbs, and the late Calvin Gilliam. He was a treasured uncle, lovingly called "Uncle Bub" by many children in the family.

He had a passion for cars, hunting, fishing, and cooking, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family. Known for his big heart and boundless love, John left a lasting legacy of kindness and warmth. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1 p.m., at West Park Cemetery 3942 Ridge Rd, Cleveland, OH 44144 (please meet at gates by 12:45 p.m.).
