Joseph Steven Gurko Sr.

Joseph Steven Gurko Sr., age 71, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2020 at his residence. Born June 1, 1949 in Queens, New York to the late Joseph J. and Martha L. (nee Mobley) Gurko, Joe and his wife made a life and raised their family in Cleveland. A printer by trade, Joe was active and supportive of many local and charitable orginations, but his greatest love was his family and spending quality time together. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bernardine M. (nee Chuppa) Gurko; sons, Joseph Jr., Scott (Michelle) and Matthew Gurko; brothers, Gary and Rick Gurko; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his beautiful family, he will be sadly missed by his four legged companion, Pepper, who could always be found at his side.
