Joseph J Mihalek

Joseph J. Mihalek, age 74, passed away suddenly on Friday, Nov. 1, at Metro Health Hospital surrounded by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra (Snock), and four children, Lisa (Rodney), Beth (Linda), Joseph (Darcy), and Peter (Sara). Joseph is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren: Sydnee, Mason, Benjamin, Ian, Henry, and Hayes. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Josephine (Kotershall), he is the brother of Ralph (Judy, deceased), Sr. Christine CSJ, John (deceased), Gregory (Anne, deceased), Mary Liptak (Jack), Anita Earl (Bill), and Stephen (Debbie). He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. Simply put, Joseph will be missed and remembered as a faithful and undeniably genuine man with a generous heart and the hands of a skilled craftsman. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 at St. Leo’s, 4940 Broadview Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109. In lieu of flowers, Joseph and family request donations be made to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
