Juaquim J. Torres

Juaquim J. Torres, age 19, passed away on April 11, 2025. He was born on April 11, 2006, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was lovingly raised by Rebecca Holbert and Cheryl Zinter.

Beloved companion of Daniela Jones, Juaquim was a devoted father-to-be, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his son, Giovanni Juaquim Torres. He was a dear brother to Anita K. Torres, Pedro J. Torres, Brittany, Jayme Hloska, Elez Zinter, James, and the entire Zinter family, Austin, Zay, Delo, Andre, Alexis, Bella, Layla, Judy, Elliott, and Christian (deceased). He was also a treasured uncle to Athena A. Allen, Carter, and Zion.

Juaquim was known for his protective nature, honesty, and deep love for his family. If he knew you, he was incredibly friendly and loyal. His sense of humor and warm heart left an impression on everyone he met. He found joy in music, especially artists like Lil Kee, Scorey, Rell Sosa, Chief Sosa, and YFG Fatso, and he loved gaming—Call of Duty, NBA 2K, Mafia, and GTA were some of his favorites.

Though his time here was far too short, Juaquim’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
