Judith C. Cassell

Judith C. Cassell, aged 85, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the 7th day of October, 2024. Born on September 7, 1939, in Price Hill, West Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of John and Julia (Melcary) Cassell.

Judy is survived by her devoted children Ralph Crider (Marcia), Randy Crider (Mary Kay), Sam Crider (Gail), Delilah Dier-Wirtjes, Debbie Cottrell (Rich), and Denise J. Crider. Her legacy includes 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters Virginia, Irene, Patricia, Catherine, Frances and one brother John (Bud) and son, Michael A. Crider, whom she deeply mourned.

Judy had a passion for embroidering, sewing and crocheting beautiful items for those she loved. She last worked for the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts office which she enjoyed. Judy had a knack for picking lottery numbers which gave her great pleasure playing and occasionally winning. Judy also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers. 

Judy will be greatly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
