With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Wayne Green, 67—a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Keith passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of over 20 years, Annie Green, his partner in life and every adventure.
Keith was the proud and loving father of Rachel Green Walczak (Tony) of North Olmsted, Kelly Green (Keith) of Parma, Angela Green (Baraa) of Baltimore, Katie Klima (Jacob) of Lorain, Kimberly Gruver (Chris) of Lorain, Chelle Jacoby (Herb) of Lorain, and Donald McCoy Jr. (Starr) of Lorain. Known as "Pappy," Keith was the world’s best grandfather to Natalee, Nicole, Zayn, Autumn, Allie, DJ, Ryder, Arabella, and countless others drawn to his warmth and humor.
He is also survived by his brother Kerry Green (Emily), sister-in-law Karen Green (Kim), niece Jess Porter (Matthew), nephews Benjamin Green (Lindsay) and Robert P. Green (Danielle), and his best buddy Donald McCoy Sr.
Keith leaves behind his constant companions, dogs Tucker and Piper, who rarely left his side—unless it was to steal his chair.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Green, mother Polly Green, and brother Kim Green.
Keith was the smartest yet most humble man in the room. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. A lifelong tinkerer, he found joy restoring forgotten treasures he and Annie collected together.
He was also a true jokester—always ready with a sarcastic comment, a perfectly timed joke, or a ridiculous gag gift that left everyone laughing. Keith’s unconditional love, quiet strength, and humor left a lasting impression. The world was better with him in it, and his absence is deeply felt.
