Kenneth Baker

Kenneth Edward Baker, born on February 24, 1938, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2024. He was the beloved son of Christine Macha and Benjamin Baker, both deceased.

Kenneth is survived by his loving children, Wendy (Lou) Callahan and Michael Kenneth Baker, as well as his step-children, Bob (Mary) Shimits, Jeff (Kim) Shimits, Nancy (Rick) Mack, Tom Shimits and Katie Bican. He was a cherished grandfather to 18 grandchildren, and a proud great-grandfather to 18 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his sibling Joan (Joe) Howard. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, including Cathy (Peter) Ross and Lauren (Mark) Puckett.

Kenneth served his country honorably as a Navy veteran during peacetime. A burial service will be scheduled in the spring at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with the dignity and respect he so deserves.

Kenneth's legacy lives on in the love of his family and the memories shared with all who knew him.

Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
