Kenneth Stephen Feckanin (74) formally of Seven Hills, Ohio was called to God on Saturday, November 23, 2024 He is survived by his favorite daughter, Rachel Gilligan (Kevin), loving Pops to Kevin and Connor, and best brother ever to Laura Mihalic and Kathy Papushak. Godfather, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was preceded to heaven by his mother and father Eleanor (Kruzel) and Steve Feckanin.

Ken grew up in Newburgh Heights, Ohio, where he graduated from South High School in 1968. He served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam Era, and was honorably discharged. 

Ken was musically talented. He could play just about any instrument. Ken especially enjoyed playing the accordion, piano, and the harmonica to friends and family. 

Ken was a loyal CEI lineman for the Illuminating Company/First Energy for 42 years. He was an active union representative for many years. 

Ken enjoyed bowling, playing pool, corn hole, watching all Cleveland sports, and was a great pinochle player. 

Above all, Ken cherished his role as dad and pops. He was known as "Coach Kenny Cool" to his daughter's travel softball team, and always said his daughter was the son he never had. His love and dedication carried on through watching his grandchildren. 

Ken will be deeply missed by family and friends. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1-4 pm at Fortuna Funeral Home 7076 Brecksville Road, Independence, OH 44131 where a prayer service will begin at 4 pm. 

Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio with immediate family only at a later date. 

For those who wish, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Disabled American Veterans 1240 E.9th St., Room 1017B, Cleveland, Ohio 44199 website: DAV.org in lieu of flowers.
