Keven Van Wenson III

Keven Van Wenson III, (K-Dub), entered this earth on November 6, 1991 to the proud parents, Keven and Karen Wenson. Keven had a great connection and relationship with God and knew the power of prayer.

Keven graduated in 2012, from Lakewood City Academy. Some of Keven’s greatest years were spent at Lakewood High School, where he showed his great passion for football and wrestling. Nicknamed “K-Train” because he was running over anyone who got in his way. Keven was named MVP of Varsity football because of his dedication, sportsmanship and for being the ultimate team player.

Keven’s heart was truly golden but his most memorable feature was definitely his laugh. His laughter could brighten any room and brought happiness to many. Keven was so pure, all children loved him and K-dub loved the kids. His loyalty to his friends was amazing and he was known to give his last so that others would succeed. Keven was an honest soul and made sure everyone knew how he felt. The type of man who loved all and will truly be missed.

Keven leaves behind to cherish his memory (parents) Keven and Karen, (grandparents) Walter, Merlyn and Shirley, (siblings) Tracy, Kevonna, A’Ishah, Karen, Keva, Traceia, Keven, Tylena, Shirley, Karon and Tory. There are four uncles Phillip, Mark, Zack and Andrew and five aunts Angela, Marla, Michelle, Christina and Myra. Keven was a loving uncle to Syauna, Van, Armani, Miles, Empress, Cali and one on the way. There are a host of relatives and friends who will truly miss his loving personality. Family and friends are welcome Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from twelve noon until time of services at 1:00 pm. at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111. Interment Riverside Cemetery. The family invites everyone back at the funeral home after the burial for the repast.
