Kirk Albert Nims was born to Kirk and Veronica Nims on September 28, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was one of three children born to that union.
Brother Kirk’s life was taken away by senseless gun violence, and he left his earthly family and friends behind on July 11, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirk and Veronica Nims, his paternal grandparents, Albert and Mamie Nims, one uncle, Ralph, and a dear and favorite aunt, Marlene.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters: Stephanie, Bridgett, and Shyla; near and dear nephews: Shawndell, Stefon (of Atlanta, Georgia), and Sheldon, as well as a niece and a nephew, Camdyn and Casen all of Cleveland, Ohio; one uncle, Roger R. Nims of Cleveland, Ohio; four aunts: Carolyn (Donald) Thomas of Plano, Texas, Patricia Robinson, Beverly (Darral) Gaffney, Doris (Marc) Seymour all of Cleveland, Ohio; cousins: Ricardo Nims, Tara (Darryl) Shropshire, of Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Nims and Tamara Nims of Owens Mills, Maryland, Michael (Tammy) Thomas of Frisco, Texas, Michelle (Grover) Coulter and Monica Rousseau of McKinney, Texas, Samantha (Eddie) Davis of Cleveland, Ohio, Jocelyn (Courtney) Walker of Mansfield, Texas and his “special like a sister” cousin, Lauren (Albert) Greene of Cleveland, Ohio, in addition to a host of second cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
