Lawrence "Larry" Dee Merryman

Lawrence “Larry” Dee Merryman, 77 years old (1944 – 2021), passed away due to a stroke surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and lifelong companion Susan Merryman, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 26th, 2021. Larry was healthy and lived every minute of his life to the fullest which is why his death came as a surprise. 

Larry was known as Dancing Larry or Crazy Legs because he loved country music and dancing all night long. Larry was a humble man, but he was very expressive, you always knew what he was thinking. Larry enjoyed a good joke but lived to make others laugh. Whether he was fixing your car, repairing something in your house, or climbing to the top of your tree he would cut down, he made it fun. Larry would make a noise, curse a barking spider, or make a funny face to get a laugh. Larry loved to work, and he was tough even at 77! No matter how busy he liked to be, he always took time to spend with friends and family. Larry was a great friend, a wonderful brother, a good son, an amazing father, a cool uncle, and a fun grandfather. He will be missed. Larry was the 4th of 15 children born of Roy and Ruby Merryman. 

Larry was a loving father to Tina Tucholski, Larry Merryman, Jr. and his wife Lorie, Leo Merryman (deceased) and Susan Merryman (deceased). Larry is survived by his grandchildren, Samantha Slone, Allison Hanson, Gene Tucholski, Larry Merryman, Angela Barto, Michael Brzozowski, Danielle Lipa, Bradley Merryman, Nathan Curry, Natalie Curry, and Leo Merryman Jr., and his great grandchildren, Jessica Myers, Rodney Slone II, John Breeden Jr., Peyton Breeden, Dominic Slone, Caleb Tucholski, Rylee Tucholski and Maverick Lawrence Merryman. 

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2:00-6:00pm at Bican Bros. Funeral Home 5215 Fleet Ave., where funeral services will be held at 5:00pm. 

Family will host guests for a celebration of life following the funeral.
