Leon Horn

Leon Horn was born to the late Willie Lee and MayBell Horn on March 22, 1958 in Mobile, Alabama. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1966, where he attended Cleveland Public Schools. Leon graduated from John Marshall High School in 1978. He worked for several factories where he retired in 2022. 

Leon was an avid sports fan and played guitar. He honed his craft on the guitar every day through practice, sometimes driving his sister Candy crazy! 

He departed this life on January 27, 2025 after a short illness. He was loved by his siblings James (Barbara) (dec), JW (dec), Dorothy (Johnny - dec), Charlie (dec) (Regina), John (dec), Betty (dec), Donald (dec), Candy, Allen Vincent (Narissa), Carrie, and Terry. Leon had four beloved children Latasha (dec), Shantel, Leah, and Ryan, and a host of relatives, including his cherished nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. 

We thank Carrie Taylor, who took loving care of him until the end. 

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 12:00 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment West Park Cemetery.
