Lewis McFloyd Daniel Jr

Lewis McFloyd Daniel Jr., born on June 19, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 73. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Lewis’s presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Lewis was passionate about the great outdoors, finding immense enjoyment in fishing and hunting. These hobbies were more than just pastimes; they provided him with solace and happiness, contributing significantly to the cherished memories he made with family and friends.

Lewis is survived by his beloved fiancée, Daphne Rembert, and their son, Moses Rembert. He delighted in his role as a grandfather to Moses Rembert Jr., Marshae, Marshaun, Monieke, and Monaye, nurturing deep and loving bonds with each of them. His siblings—Kathleen (Farris) White, Willie (Vivian) Daniel, Larry (Chyna) Daniel, Emma (Stephanie) Daniel, and Helen Daniel—stood by him through life’s journey, sharing many treasured moments.

In addition to his immediate family, Lewis leaves behind a wealth of nieces and nephews who carry his legacy forward. His family extended to Azaudie, Shafarah, Johnathan, Andre, Elijah, Ayla, Jhovi, Mickey, Tamera, Myla, Myanna, Micah, Malachi, Kacheri, Shyla, Kelsey, Dreson, Myanna, and his great nephew, Lorenzo.

Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Daniel, his mother, Jessie Lee Daniel, daughter, Symone Johnson, and brother, Robert Daniel. Their memories will remain etched in the hearts of those who loved him, as he carries their spirit with him on his journey beyond.
