Louise Kovesi

Louise Kovesi (81) passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord at her home in Cleveland on November 8, 2018.  Born in North Wilkesboro, NC on December 16, 1936 to Sanford and Kizzie Anderson (Shew), her life’s journey brought her to Cleveland, where she married and raised two children.  Louise worked, volunteered, and enjoyed sewing and gardening while being actively involved in, and supportive of, her children’s and grandchild’s lives. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Sherman Anderson, Arthur Anderson, Roy Anderson, Ralph Anderson, and David Anderson; and, sisters: Texie Spicer and Electa Steelman.  She is survived by her husband, David; son, Kenneth Kovesi (Sylvia Johnson) of OH; daughter, Kathleen Williams (Mark) of NC; grandson, Zachary Williams (Michele Billings) of NC; and great-grandson, Warren Williams of NC; and sisters, Betty Brown of NC and Helen Younce of NC. Family and friends are welcome Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. where closing reflections and prayers will be held at 6:45 p.m. at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111. Graveside services will be held  11:00 a.m. at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Road. Please meet inside the State Road entrance.
