Lucas D. Gabriel

Lucas D. Gabriel, 80, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 8, 2018.  Lucas, cherished husband of Haydee (deceased) for 58 years; loving and proud father of Lucas H. (Maritza); Rachel Venezuela (Miguel); and Nancy Rozier (Jeffrey); devoted grandfather to Michael, Daniel, David, Jeffrey Jr. and Gabrielle; great-grandfather to Makayla, Alexis, Michael Brandon, Xavier, Christian and Isaiah; loving son to Ramon “Moncho” Gabriel Negron (deceased) and Carmen Maria Rodriguez (deceased); dear brother of Iris (deceased), Oscar (deceased), Fina (deceased), Ramon Juan (deceased), Luis, Amilcar, Daisy (deceased), Nelida, Norberto, Menche, Carmen Maria (deceased), Carlos Ivan, Luisa, Camilo, Manuel and Aerminio; loving brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.  Lucas and his wife were part of the founding families of Nueva Jerusalem in Cleveland, where he served his church family in various roles.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. at SLONE & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Internment to follow at West Park Cemetery.
