Luz Celenia Torres

Luz Celenia Torres, age 89, passed away on July 27, 2024. Born on August 28, 1934, in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, to the late Esteban Torres and Carmen Rubert, Luz lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Celestino Maldonado and a devoted mother to Ana Luisa Maldonado Torres, Catherine Maldonado Torres, George Maldonado Torres, Noemi Rubert, Ana Maria Rubert, and Ana Iris Rubert.

Luz's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Janisa Laporte Maldonado, Heidy Laporte Maldonado, Jackeline Olan, Vivian Ives Maldonado, Julio Olan, Edgar Quiles, Zuleyka Maldonado, and Sharlene Rubert. She was a dear sister to Gloria Torres, Felix Torres, and Junior Ortiz.
