Mark David Schaffer

Mark David Schaffer lost his battle with cancer on January 10, 2019 and is now at peaceful rest.

He was the fourth in line of eight children. Mark was a self-employed construction contractor and loved doing anything that involved his hands and fixing anything imaginable. He was a dreamer and was always a big entertainer when with family and friends. Mark was a generous soul and would do anything for anybody that he could possible do. He will be missed by many.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cheryl Paulitzky, step-children, Edward Paulitzky and Robert Paulitzky, both of Cleveland, mother, Catherine Ann Schaffer, New Cumberland, PA, siblings, Daniel Lee Schaffer (Stephen Jaeger), Morrisville, PA, Michael Rodger Schaffer (deceased) (Cyndi), Atlanta, GA, Kenneth Samuel Schaffer (Robin), North Royalton, OH, Scott Adam Schaffer, Pensacola, FL, Thomas Daniel Schaffer, Jr (Kaye), Chesapeake, VA, Catherine Mary Watson (Brad), New Cumberland, PA, Gregory Allan Schaeffer, Phoenix, AZ. He was an uncle to ten nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Father, Thomas Daniel Schaffer predeceased him.

Family and Friends are welcome Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Slone & Co. Funeral Home, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to American Cancer Society.
