Mark Dewane Williams

Mark Dewane Williams, aged 57 years old, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on December 28th, 2024, after a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s in early 2021. 

Mark was born on September 20th, 1967, to Joe and Sandra Williams in Cleveland, Ohio. Mark went on to train in the police academy and became a police officer of 29 years. In 1997, Mark married Colleen, and went on to have two daughters, Ashley and Alyssa. 

Mark was an avid golf player. He enjoyed volunteering and participating in church activities such as the golf league, choir, the security team, church dramas, and teaching Sunday school classes. 

In December 2022, Mark retired and spent his time playing the piano, doing yard work, playing with his beloved dogs and spending time with his wife, daughters, and family members. 

Mark was predeceased by his father, Joe and his sister, Deanna. He is survived by his wife Colleen, his two daughters Ashley (Carl) and Alyssa (Dane), his mother Sandra, his brothers Joe and Jim, his sisters Dianna and Lora, and many other family members and friends. 

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church 3480 Laurel Rd. Brunswick, OH 44212.
