Martha Slone, age 87, resident of Lakewood, Ohio, formerly of Shelby, Ohio, where she lived most of her life, passed away Monday June 8, 2015.
Born April 7, 1928 in Wayland, KY to James and Laverne (Conley) Combs.
She is survived by her son Larry E. Slone of Shelby; her grandchildren Charles D. Slone of Lakewood and Timothy (Andrea) Slone of Shelby; her great-grandchildren Taylor, Tannor, Tessa and Travis Slone all of Shelby; her sister Florence Huddleston of Shelby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Slone; her daughter Kathy Slone; her parents; one sister Sadie Gibson and four brothers, Kendall, Virgil, Amel and Savel Combs.
Family and friends are welcome, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm in the Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13430 Madison Ave., Lakewood, Ohio 44107
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1:30pm at Oakland Cemetery, Shelby with Pastor Gary Hunt officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby.
